If you want to say hello to some refreshing wine, then you might want to check out Sanrio's rosé. The company has created a line of Hello Kitty wines which will make you unwind and all come in 'kawaii' packaging.

The special collection is currently available in just one restaurant in the U.S. and ready to expand. Patrizia Torti, who's family own the winery in charge of Hello Kitty's alcohol, spoke with LA Times about the drink and its future.

"My father and my sister take care of the production, from the soil to picking the grapes," she said. "We produce a special bottle with a heart, only for Hello Kitty."

Torti went on to explain that the wines aren't limited edition items and her family plans to make a lot more of it. However, until those expanded distribution plans pan out, the only place you can grab a bottle of Hello Kitty wine is Antonello Ristorante in Santa Ana.

The restaurant's owner Antonio Cagnolo said his team worked closely with Sanrio to secure the wine and even created an entire menu to accompany the fruit spirits. "We worked diligently with the Sanrio people to pick and choose the right combination of food for the special wine," said Cagnolo. The specialized menu includes cute classics like Hello Kitty-shaped watermelon slices and chocolate cakes shaped after the iconic cat.

If you're worried about the line's selection, there's no need to be. The Torti family have created a sparkling rosé for Hello Kitty by blending Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The winery's white wine is also crafted from the Pinot Noir harvest. Every grape is picked by hand, so connoisseurs can rest assured that their wine is overseen carefully.

Of course, this wine isn't the only way Hello Kitty has come into U.S. foodie culture. The Japanese icon showed off her trademark whiskers earlier this year when the very first Hello kitty cafe opened in America. The pop-up locale opened up in Irvine on July 15th and will be in business until next year. The cafe sells plenty of Hello Kitty-themed drinks, pastries, and portable lunches for fans to snack on.

So, if you have the time and are up for a drive, you can pick up a bottle of fine Hello Kitty wine before grabbing a few pastries at the cat's pop-up cafe to enjoy a night off. Who wouldn't be up for that?
