American Horror Story Fans Just Spotted Taissa Farmiga's Roanoke Character

With Season 6 of American Horror Story quickly coming to an end, fans of the FX series have been desperately trying to find Taissa Farmiga's Roanoke character. Some particularly clever viewers might have actually spotted her in the promo spot for next week's episode!

In the short clip "Chapter 9," some particularly observant fans spotted a girl with long straight hair, wearing a blue jacket, and holding a selfie stick walking through the Roanoke forest. The scene appears to be an homage to The Blair Witch Project as three young adults are shown meandering through the woods with cameras, and it might just be Farmiga's character that we got a brief glimpse of for the first time this season.

Co-creator of American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy, confirmed last month that the 22-year-old actress would be making her highly anticipated return to FX's anthology series Roanoke. He also mentioned that another former star, Finn Wittrock, would be coming back to the show.

"Finn Wittrock is coming back soon, playing his most f**ked up character of all-time," Murphy said during an interview with E! News. "To the point where he was like, 'This is so crazy that I don't know that I can do it, but I'll do it.' And Taissa Farmiga is coming back for the first time ever since Coven, in I think a really, really great part and we love her. We're very excited – she's a part of our world and always will be, and I always wanted her to come back.

It's safe to say that Ryan Murphy's assessment was right in that Wittrock's character arguably the most "f**ked up" we have ever seen on the show, and that's definitely saying something. Here's what we learned about Finn Wittrock's character from this past Wednesday's episode of American Horror Story.

While it is hard to tell from the picture above it really is Taissa Farmiga's character on Roanoke, the haircut and color seems to match.
