Today, Walt Disney Parks and Walt Disney Imagineering revealed a new look at the in-development Star Wars-themed land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fla. The images offered a new view of the resort area as it will appear after nightfall.

The image offers a look at how the new Star Wars-themed land will look once it lights up for the night crowd. A close look at the image below will reveal several interesting and exciting details, including an attraction that lets visitors take control of the famed Millennium Falcon.
The new Star Wars-themed land will be located in the southwest corner of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney Parks also revealed that work has already begun on bringing Star Wars to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland park in Anaheim, Calif.
During today’s D23: Destination D presentation, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts chairman Bob Chapek announced that the Star Tours โ The Adventure Continues attraction will be getting a new update. Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm are hard at work developing a new mission and attraction based on 2017’s Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Sounds like the coming years will offer plenty of reasons for Star Wars fans to pay a visit to one of Disney’s theme parks.

The next installment of the Star Wars film franchise will be its first ever standalone spinoff movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy, from a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. Rogue One stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen, and Forest Whitaker.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters Dec. 16.
