Michael Keaton is set to become one of the few actors to appear both in a DC Comics movie and Marvel film. Keaton will go from DC hero Batman to Marvel villain the Vulture, but Keaton views his Spider-Man: Homecoming gig as being just like any other role.
"Batman was also a borderline vigilante too," the actor told Entertainment Tonight from the press junket for his latest film, The Founder. "It is just another role that just happens to be in a big, fun, great-looking superhero movie."
That said, Keaton admits to being impressed by what a finely tuned machine Marvel Studios is.
"[It's] pretty amazing once you step into that," Keaton said. "I hadn't done a Marvel movie and they are so good at how they run things. It's impressive."
He's also pleased to be working with Tom Holland, Marvel Studios' new Peter Parker.
"He is a really good guy," Keaton said. "I just worked with Dylan O'Brien [on the upcoming thriller American Assassin] and they are around the same age, I would say, and they are both such good guys to work with. Tommy is a good kid."
