As part of a financial presentation, Ubisoft has revealed that in this coming fiscal year it plans to release a few AAA heavy hitters, including a new Assassin’s Creed game, a new Far Cry, a sequel to The Crew, and the next South Park title. It also revealed that the next fiscal year (2018 / 2019) would include four major AAA titles and a brand new IP. These are incredibly exciting times.

As for Far Cry and The Crew, those two games have been officially revealed on Ubisoft’s website. We know for a fact now that Far Cry 5 is coming, as well as The Crew 2. Rumors for the next Far Cry have been circulating widely ever since Ubisoft teased us with some not-so-subtle images, though we still don’t know exactly what to expect. We’re pretty sure the game will take place in Montana, but can’t say much aside from that.

We’re also expecting some kind of big Assassin’s Creed news very soon. In addition to Ubisoft’s official confirmation that we’d be seeing a new Assassin’s Creed this year, the following tweet was sent out from the official Spanish account:

“Sharpen your blade,” it reads, “The Assassins will soon leave the shadows…” I don’t know what that means to you all, but to us it sounds like we can expect a trailer very soon. This tweet also gives us our first official look at the new Assassin’s Creed logo. Hopefully we’ll get to learn more about Assassin’s Creed Origins and its Egyptian setting. For more on that, you can check out our exclusive leaked report right here, which goes over the game’s setting, main characters, and some key features.

Ubisoft kicked some serious ass this past financial year, leading the gaming industry with more than 44 million unique players. Ghost Recon: Wildlands and For Honor led the charge for Ubisoft, but the renowned publisher also has several games with enormous install bases that continue to perform (Rainbow Six Siege is a prime example). We expect (as well as they) to see continued growth over the next to years.

The earnings call is currently ongoing. We’ll update you with further breaks as they develop.
