Before the DCEU was up and on its way, Christopher Nolan has the keys to the DC kingdom thanks to his successful Batman trilogy. So what did the director think of the DCEU’s latest?

That was the question at hand when Yahoo caught up with Nolan, who had nothing but amazing things to say about the critical and commercially successful Wonder Woman.
“I did and I loved it. I mean, I watch the films. I enjoy films very much as a moviegoer these days. I spent 10 years of my life dealing with one of the greatest characters in popular fiction. It was a great honor and a privilege to work with that, but there’s a time to pass it on to new people.”
Many have compared the recent DC output to Nolan’s Batman films, mostly because he set quite the high bar. DC has had a difficult time following those films, but finally seems to have found a winner with Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, which has sailed past $700 million worldwide.
Nolan’s traded in the superhero genre for a variety of other projects, and his latest recreates the battle on the beaches of Dunkirk. Dunkirk hits on July 20, 2017.
As for Wonder Woman, the film currently has an 86.03 on ComicBook.com’s composite rankings, and you can find the official description below.
