It’s not surprising to hear that most Dragon Ball fans are rooting for Universe 7 at the moment. Thanks to the current story arc of Dragon Ball Super, Goku’s home has found itself in peril as the Omni-Kings are all too ready to destroy Universe 7 should the Saiyan and his friends lose out in an upcoming martial arts tournament. With much of the multiverse taking part in the event, countless worlds are in danger of being wiped out, but there are a few universes out there ready to give Universe 7 a run for its money.
You know, like Universe 6. It doesn’t just have Cabba on its side. No, the locale also has one familiar, gender-bent Saiyan on its side.

Before Dragon Ball Super entered its new arc, fans were beside themselves when Toei Animation released an official trailer for the story. It was there that audiences were introduced to a character who looks just like a female version of Broly. In the video, fans watched in awe as an unassuming girl transformed into a hulking Saiyan who had Broly’s physique, hair, and glowing eyes. Now, fans have learned a bit more about the character, and she sounds properly intimidating.
In the latest episode of Dragon Ball Super, fans watched as Universe 6 began to prepare for the Tournament of Power. Champa, the God of Destruction, instructed his attendant Vados to contact one of his domain’s most powerful fighters Cabba. When the boy answered the call, the chubby deity stressed that Universe 6 needed someone more powerful than Cabba. “We need someone stronger than you,” the god yelled. “I want Saiyans! Give us more Saiyans!”
Of course, Cabba looked scared by the command, but fans know the boy will managed to recruit one yet-named heroine who heavily resembles Broly when she transforms. If she is the one recruited by Cabba, then that means the girl features a higher power level than Cabba – and that may spell trouble for the tournament.
Power levels are always in flux when it comes to Dragon Ball Super, but Cabba was no pushover when the fighter was introduced. When Vegeta fought against the younger Saiyan, the princely character commented that Cabba’s power was the same as him in his base form. The Saiyans of Universe 6 also evolved separately from their Universe 7 counterparts, giving them an edge when it comes to canonical potential. However, Goku and Vegeta are able to utilize god ki and enter transformations such as Super Saiyan Blue. It will be a shock for the those two to go up against a female Saiyan who transforms into the girlish equivalent of Broly.

Champa: “We need a Saiyan! Bring me a Saiyan!”
Vados: “Alright, here is *a Saiyan*.”

That is, if they even acknowledge it. When it comes to Dragon Ball, Broly is a controversial hero thanks to his questionable canon.
