Dragon Ball Super finally pulled its ongoing arc together this past weekend. The ‘Universal Survival’ storyline saw its pacing rush forward as the Tournament of Power prepared to kick off. Universe 7 and other competitors arrived at the tournament’s arena to fight for their home’s survival. Now, a brand-new set of Dragon Ball Super episode titles have been released, and they suggest a few big plot twists are on their way.

Thanks to Todd Blankenship, the Internet has been gifted fan-translations of the new Dragon Ball Super titles. The provisional episode names tease fans about which stories will come to light in July, and they sound hugely destructive.

You can check out the Dragon Ball Super episode titles below:

  • 98 – “All In Vain! The Universes Despair!”
  • 99 – “Krillin’s Hidden Strength!!”
  • 100 – “The Berserker Awakens!”
  • 101 – “The Warrior Of Justice Closes In!”

Dragon Ball Super‘s 97th episode is set to debut on Satruday, so fans can expect synopses for these upcoming episodes to drop soon. Episode 98 seems particularly worrisome as it suggests the Tournament of Power actually has no positive endgame. If everyone’s training has been for naught, the competitors will be likely to lose motivation quickly, but Krillin looks like he’ll regain his mojo by episode 99.

As for episode 100, the milestone release will celebrate with the so-called Female Broly. Kale entered the Tournament of Power for Universe 6, and the lady Saiyan is getting ready to show off her terrifying power. Cabba and Caulifla saw firsthand how destructive Kale’s berserker Super Saiyan transformation can be, and the Saiyans of Universe 7 will be tempted to compare the girl to Broly. That is, if the Legendary Super Saiyan was actually canon and all.

The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super‘s current saga can be read below:

“According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called “Chikara no Taikai” (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe’s elite warriors?”

Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
