Green, the American kind in this case, seems to have its weaknesses as well. Following an unexpected bump in the strength of the Australian dollar versus the American dollar, The Hollywood Reporter has released news that the Ryan Reynolds-starring Green Lantern is moving its production out of the land down under in favor of a location with a better economic trend for Warner Bros., the studio producing the expected blockbuster. The press release indicated that this is not just happening to Green Lantern, but other productions may have to be shuffled around the globe as the dollar continues to fall. Sources indicate that GL may move to Mexico or Canada, but when remains a mystery, as production on the film was supposed to have started in November 2009. How this will work for Reynolds, who is also starring in a reported Deadpool movie, remains to be seen.
