There have been a couple new TV spots hit for The Avengers. Most of the footage in the new TV spots is actually footage that has already been shown in previous trailers, but there were a couple new revelations. Here is our list of the top five revelations from the new Avengers commercials.

Hulk SmilesHulk Has A Wicked Smile

– We've seen Hulk leap and smash in the movies, but this is the first time we can recall seeing the jolly green giant crack a smile. Why does the Hulk smile? Because Captain America tells Hulk to do what Hulk does best, as the good Captain directs, "Hulk! Smash!"

Avengers Widow's BiteBlack Widow Shows Off Her Widow's Bite

– Blink and you might miss it, but Black Widow shows off her Widow's Bite in one of the new TV commercials. The Widow's Bite is the name for Black Widow's wrist-mounted energy weapons.

Thor is a demigodThor Is A Demigod

– In Marvel Comics, Thor is also known as the God of Thunder. In the Avengers' roll call TV spot, Tony Stark refers to Thor as a demigod. Why Stark calls Thor a demigod rather than a full god has been a source of debate on various message boards. Many are speculating that Marvel is just being cautious of possible offending the religious right if they referred to Thor as a god.

Avengers Every Team Needs A CaptainEvery Team Needs A Captain

– While Robert Downey, Jr. has definitely gotten his fair share of screen time on the commercials to date, the newest commercials show us a good amount of Chris Evans as Captain America. From issuing orders to the Hulk to pulling the team together, Captain America is increasingly being shown as the man in charge. After all, as the screen blurbs remind us, "Every Team Needs A Captain."

Avengers not yet ratedThis Film Is Not Yet Rated

– Say what? We thought that The Avengers had been rated "PG-13," but the newest TV commercials say the film has not yet been rated. Never fear though, we're sure this is a formality and that the movie will land at a "PG-13" rating. There's no way that Disney would let it go to a "R" rating, and there's to much violence for it to slip in at a "PG" rating.
