With casting presumably just about ready to start on Star Wars Episode VII and Kick-Ass 2 ready to hit theaters soon, it's probably not surprising that fans and the press are revisiting rumors that Chloe Grace-Moretz, who plays Hit-Girl in the Matthew Vaughn-directed comics adaptation, was rumored to be in line for the lead role in Star Wars at some point along the line. Vaughn, the rumor goes, was pitching as a potential director for the project before Disney landed on J.J. Abrams and along the way named his Kick-Ass standout as his idea for the lead. Fans latched onto the idea and it's been a popular Internet rumor ever since. Enter MTV News, who asked Moretz during the Kick-Ass 2 press tour whether she had any interest in bringing fanboy dreams to life and starring in the next Star Wars. "I mean, obviously there's interest. It's Star Wars! I'd kill to be a part of that franchise," Moretz said, and then changed her tone to something a little more jokey. "But I don't know, J.J., I'll give you my phone number. You can text me."
