During a wide-ranging interview with Collider, in which actor Chris Evans talked about his new film The Iceman as well as Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Snowpiercer (man, what is it with this guy and the cold?), the actor revealed that his current Captain America contract is for six films, meaning that he’ll be on the hook for a minimum of two more after The Winter Soldier and The Avengers 2.”We got six, which was good because initially it was nine,” Evans said of the Captain America offer, which he was initially hesitant to accept. “I was like, ‘I can’t do 9.’ But even 6 – you can do 6 over 10 years. It is a big commitment.”That said, Evans had nothing but praise for Marvel, the creative people they’ve got at work there and the approach to filmmaking that the studio brings.”They are not going to do bad movies,” said Evans. “I love being the character, I love being a part of the team, and it is the best. If you have to be under a six-picture contract, you can’t find a better one.”
