As San Diego Comic Con is coming to a close, it’s time for cosplayers to strike their final poses. No doubt, the hot California sun has been brutal for those die-hard cosplayers making rounds at the convention this year, and the heat is just now dying out as the sun sets on SDCC’s final day. But, hey – it’s not all bad news! At ComicBook.com, we’re still over here bringing you some of the best cosplays from the con to fangirl over.

Our photo gallery is overflowing with top-notch cosplayers who know their characters inside and out. From comics to anime and more, fans from all over the world convened at SDCC to share their pieces and celebrate the global culture of geekdom. Whether they’re wearing Gwen Stacy’s spider-suit or toting Superman’s red cape, fans came together to pay homage to their favorite characters in fandom.

I mean, looking through our gallery photos, it’s almost impossible to choose which piece is the best. Clearly, all of the models put in serious time and effort to their pieces. Just look at the articulated joints the Iron Man cosplayer is sporting? And the dress Jessica Rabbit is donning looks almost painfully beautiful considering how tightly the garment’s waist is cinched! Oh, yeah, we definitely can’t forget, uh, Jewish Wolverine? I’m not quite sure what name the cosplayer has gifted his ensemble but seeing Wolverine whip out his Menorah-inspired claws is absolutely amazing.

And, yes, we’ve also got it give it up to the group who went as Pokemon GO as well as the girl showing off her Riri Williams look as the new Iron (Wo)Man! Given those projects’ recent announcements, we’re duly impressed these cosplayers got their outfits ready in-time for the convention!

So, let us know which are your favorites! Do you see any cosplayers who made you go, “Oh wow!” this year? Tell us in the comments below! And, as always, don’t forget to keep checking ComicBook.com for the latest updates on all things SDCC as we bring you guys the best news from the weekend.
