“Dear JJ Abrams” Short Film Gives Four Steps to Make Star Wars Work

Earlier this week, a group of animators and Star Trek fans posted a video to YouTube (embedded below) and started a website to implore the director of Star Wars Episode VII:”Dear J.J. Abrams: Please don’t mess this up. Love, Everyone.”You can see the short animation below, which gives four steps for restoring Star Wars to greatness–what they boil down to, though, is returning to the sense of Star Wars as a Western, where danger and violence can be around every corner and the characters are morally gray in spite of the whole “light side/dark side” thing.Check it out below.
