While Comic-Con came and went with surprisingly no update on Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot, it appears as if 20th Century Fox is still very actively moving forward with the project. Production was originally supposed to take place in Vancouver on the film, but The Wrap is reporting that production will actually be moving to Louisiana. The reason for the move is that the state of Louisiana recently tabled a bill that would have reduced the state’s film production incentive program, which opened the door for Fox to feel comfortable filming there. Louisiana gives a 30 percent transferrable tax credit for in-state expenditures related to a film’s production along with another 5 percent labor incentive for hiring the state’s residents. The Fantastic Four reboot will reportedly begin production in September. The film is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on March 6, 2015.
