First Godzilla Movie Review: Slash Calls It Epic

We have our first mini-review of the highly anticipated Godzilla movie from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures. How can that be you ask, considering the film has been shrouded in secrecy?Well, it appears as if Warner and Legendary have already started early screenings of the film for their executives and other influential people. One of the influential people to get an early screening was none other than guitarist Slash. Why did Slash get to see an early screening? We’re not sure. Maybe, he’s working on the soundtrack. Or maybe, he got to see it just because he’s Slash.While people who get to see early screenings of super-secret movies are usually held under a review embargo, the rules probably don’t apply for rock superstars. Slash took to Twitter to share his enthusiasm for the film.Slash tweeted, “Spoiler alert: the new Godzilla is pretty fn’ epic. Saw an early screening. It’s bad ass. Cast is great too. Just saying. iiii]; )’”Godzilla is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 16, 2014.
