Earlier this month at Atlanta’s Dragon Con, cosplayers celebrated the 30th anniversary of Crisis on Infinite Earths (1985) by dressing as DC Comics characters from the 12-issue companywide crossover event.

George Perez, who illustrated the landmark miniseries that dramatically altered the DC Comics’ universe, was on hand to see his artwork come to life as the cosplayers painstakingly recreated several of the more emotional moments from it, like the deaths of Supergirl and The Flash (Barry Allen).
Crisis on Infinite Earths was written by Marv Wolfman with inks by Dick Giordano, Jerry Ordway and Mike DeCarlo
