Ghostbusters Concept Art Featuring Female Slimer

California-based conceptual artist Constantine Sekeris (Green Lantern, Man of Steel) has updated his official website with concept art he created for Paul Feig‘s female-led Ghostbusters reboot.

Click on our “Start Slideshow” feature to view Sekeris’s designs for Slimer, Ms. Slimer, the enormous gargoyle ghost that was perched on Patti’s shoulder at the rock concert.

A female version of Slimer can be seen in the climax of the film. After the Ghostbusters failed to close the portal by crossing their streams, they spot Slimer and Ms. Slimer joyriding nearby in their Ecto-1 — which he stole and drove off in at the beginning of the third act.

The franchise makes its long-awaited return with Director Paul Feig‘s unique and hilarious take on the classic supernatural comedy, led by the freshest minds in comedy today, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth. Together they team up to save Manhattan from a sudden invasion of spirits, spooks and slime that engulfs the city.

Directed by Paul Feig and written by Katie Dippold & Paul Feig, Ghosbusters: Answer the Call is based on the 1984 Ivan Reitman film, written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It’s produced by Reitman and Amy Pascal and executive produced by Feig, Jessie Henderson, Dan Aykroyd, Tom Pollock, Joe Medjuck, Ali Bell, and Michele Imperato Stabile.
