The visit must have been extra special for the 50-year-old British novelist as Fantastic Beast and Where to Find them isn’t just based on her 2001 book, Rowling is making her screenwriting debut as well. I’m sure she feels as though her script is in good hands. David Yates is helming the film and he previously directed four Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows โ Part 1 (2010) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows โ Part 2 (2011).
Rowling tweeted that she had a “fun” time on the set and showed off her chair and identification badge.
