Fleetwood suffered from spindle cell sarcoma, a rare connective tissue cancer, and said he was fighting as best he could to live long enough to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Following the massive social media campaign surrounding “#ForceForDaniel,” J.J. Abrams and Walt Disney Studios provided Fleetwood with an advanced copy of the film to watch in his home.
Two days later, he passed away.
#ForceForDaniel glad you got to see the movie more importantly that you slept in peace. God bless you man x x you inspire me xx
