While earlier today it seemed pretty clear to us (and a number of other sites) that you could see General Zod’s coat of arms hiding behind the static on the Man of Steel website, the transmission has updated again and now it appears as though his ally Faora, the Kryptonian warrior who reportedly has a wild fight scene with Superman in the film, who is broadcasting her sigil.Comic Book Movie noticed the change which, if you look at the image at right, seems to be an entirely new broadcast rather than just a clarification of what was being sent out earlier. You can see the “pointy” part of her coat of arms, something neither Superman nor Zod have, about a quarter of the way through the image from the top left, which is the closest thing to a giveaway we’ve had yet that confirms any of the images we’ve thought we were seeing.Fans on Reddit had suggested they had seen Superman’s logo on the first and faintest transmission–perhaps it’s some kind of reapeating cycle, or a countdown (especially since there’s a countdown built into the HTML that apparently ends tomorrow night–not Monday as originally thought–at 8 p.m. EST).Meanwhile, the Deep Space Radio Wave Project website has decoded another of the four words in its cryptic message, and now says “You alone are,” with only one space left to decode. We aren’t sure what that last word will be, but stand by our guess that it could be a message from Jor-El, since “You alone…” seem a phrase likely to be applied to Superman, and if the messages are “confirmed as coming from space” this time, it seems most likely that they’re originating from Krypton. After all, the Phantom Zone doesn’t seem like someplace you could easily trace a signal from, so such confirmation in a message from Zod and Faora would be unlikely.
