Scott Pilgrim’s Aubrey Plaza Stars in Daria Trailer

We really wish this movie were actually coming out.Alas, it’s just a College Humor parody, but has there ever been more perfect live-action casting for a prospective Daria movie than Aubrey Plaza, star of Parks & Recreation, Safety Not Guaranteed and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World? I mean, she essentially plays Daria Morgandorffer in Parks & Recreation.The trailer isn’t a high school story, either; it features Daria returning home to Lawndale to meet Jane and Quinn–and to take in a little Sick Sad World on the iPad. Check it out below, and somebody get a Kickstarter going for this thing, pronto.
