You know that Toy Fair must be around the corner when every design studio imaginable starts unveiling their eye candy for the coming year.

Case in point: Sentinel Toys’ reveal of their shelf-busting Re:Edit Iron Man Extremis Armor figure. Inspired by the artwork and designs of Marvel artist Adi Granov, this Invincible statue brings Iron Man’s primary tuit from 2004 to 2008 to stunning life. The design serves as the main inspiration for the Iron Man armor worn by Robert Downey Jr. in the Iron Man films, which, not coincidentally, Adi Granov also designed.
Sentinel’s statue clocks in at just over seven inches, has multiple points of articulation and interchangeable hands, and lights up with a battery-powered chest piece and eyes. Sorry, no mini-Arc Reactor is included.
For $170.00, this Iron Masterpiece can be yours when it hits shelves in May. Sure, it’s expensive, but just don’t see Avengers: Age of Ultron for the 10th time and call it even.
