As Star Trek Beyond boldly goes where no one has gone before, it’s also taking a moment to reflect on its past.

The cast and crew of Star Trek Beyond are honoring the late Leonard Nimoy, who tragically passed this year, by holding a sweepstakes to benefit Nimoy’s favorite charity.
Over at charity funding site Omaze, Star Trek fans can pay a $10 entry fee for the chance to be in Star Trek: Beyond. The proceeds from each entry will go directly to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, which was the original Mister. Spock’s favorite charitable organization.
But even if you’re not a grand prize winner, there’s still a chance to prosper with this sweepstakes. In addition to the grand prize of a walk-on role in Star Trek Beyond, the crew will randomly select an additional winner to join the “To Boldly Go Crew.” Members of this crew will visit the set, meet the cast, and watch as they film scenes for the new film.
You can watch Zachary Quinto, the current Spock, explain the full details in the video below.
