Smart money says that means a particular story element originally attributed to Ford will now fall to Isaac, but that it was an action or expository beat that could be fulfilled by either character.
A recent blog post hinted at major changes to the film but numerous competing news and rumor sites have shot that down.
Representatives for Disney, who have been downplaying the impact of Ford’s injury on production, said of Isaac’s role being expanded, “This is categorically not true.”
