That’s because SyFy announced that it has ordered a pilot for Incorporated, a science fiction espionage tale created under Damon and Affleck’s production company, Pearl Street Productions. Universal Cable Production and CBS Television Studios will also oversee the pilot’s production.
Though the finer details are still under wraps, Incorporated will tell a story set in a dystopian future, where corporations rule over the the working class and government branches are increasingly privatized. As Incorporated progresses, viewers will become accustomed to this new world through suspenseful and action packed story lines driven by nuanced characters who have a dark sense of humor. The Goodwife’s Ted Humphrey will serve as executive producer and show runner alongside Damon and Affleck.
“Incorporated provides us distinct insight into a world dictated by our decisions today. Viewers will delve into the intricacies of our future, one that we are constantly warned of, but as a society have not yet explored,” Damon and Affleck said in a joint statement. “We believe this is an important and timely story to tell and can think of no one better to guide us into this than David, Alex and Ted.”
Series creators David and Alex Pastor will direct the pilot based on a screenplay that they also wrote.
