In an appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea on The Walking Dead, talked about the fans’ reaction to her character. When Ferguson asked Holden if she got a lot of attention, she said, “I do. The fans are very passionate and they don’t really know the difference between the actors and the characters.”Laurie Holden continued, “So like right now a lot of people are upset with Andrea because she hooked up with the sociopathic villain of the piece. So if I go to Coffee Bean or the gas station or you know Hugo’s Tacos, people stop me and say ‘you need to get away from him.’ It’s like ok, note to self.”Laurie Holden, who is originally from Canada, also told Ferguson that she’s currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. In regards to Southerners, Laurie Holden said, “I love the Southern people, because they’re kind, they have manners, they call me Miss Laurie, men open doors.”
