Filmmaker Frank Darabont, who developed Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead for television, and actor Jon Bernthal, who played Shane in the hit AMC series, will reunite for the period police drama LA Noir, which TNT just picked up for an initial six-episode order.Along with yesterday’s announcement to that effect, TNT released a pair of promotional images for the series.The one-hour drama, which also stars The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey DeMunn, is based on John Buntin’s book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City.
