The early ratings are in for Tuesday night, and it’s a mixed bag for comic book and genre fans, but nothing is too dire at the moment.

First, the good news: The Muppets actually went up a bit in the ratings after a week off for Halloween specials to a 1.4, giving it a bit more hope than it had two weeks ago. iZombie also ticked up a bit – putting it at .6. That wouldn’t be great on one of the big three, but on The CW it’s actually survivable, and an increase is an increase.
Both Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Flash dropped .1 once again, to 1.4 and 1.3 respectively. That isn’t anything grim for either show, though; they both continue to bounce by .1, and have for the last four weeks, and The Flash is still tops at The CW by a very comfortable margin. (Incidentally, S.H.I.E.L.D. has a ton of buzz from arguably its best episode ever, so it should see a jump in the Live+3).
NCIS was tops in scripted shows overall for Tuesday night, but not by as wide a margin as usual. Marginally genre show Limitless held at a 1.4, and was recently picked up for a “back 9,” meaning it’ll now have a full 22 episode season instead of the initially ordered 13.
