In the latest production still tweeted out by X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer, none of the regular cast members appear in the shot, but an actor playing disgraced former U.S. President Richard Nixon appears to be conferring with his military advisers–perhaps about a Sentinel program?One of the very first photos posted from the film, of course, was a copy of Charles Xavier’s Oxford thesis (seen at right and below) with the logo of the Central Intelligence Agency on it. So there’s certainly no guarantee that, just because he’s Nixon, the President will be up to no good here. After all, some function of the U.S. Government in this film is taking advice from Professor X.Singer is no help in sussing out what’s going on, calling the shot simply a “pivotal meeting.”
