X-Men’s Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen Celebrate New Year’s Eve

It’s a well-known fact that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen are great friends. The pair of celebrated actors starred across each other in the X-Men franchise as enemies, but they’ve supported each other all the way off screen. They’ve both been knighted for their contributions to the arts. They even starred in a pair of Broadway plays together. Oh, and McKellen served as the officiant for Stewart’s wedding.

So, it shouldn’t be much surprise that the pair are spending New Year’s Eve together, as Patrick Stewart tweeted out tonight.
