Alien Toilet Monsters is a new series by Carol Zara and Eric Barnett, a series with endless possibilities, though some of them aren’t ones you will want to experience personally. You can count Multiverse 241 in that group, a world that is home to a host of creatures that, well, let’s just say you don’t want to discover them in your basement.

The thing is, not everyone believes the multiverse exists, and the schism between the ones who acknowledge it and the ones who don’t seems to widen every year. Unfortunately for the people of this world, a rude awakening is making its way towards them, and nothing will ever be the same after it hits.

Sounds crazy right? Surprisingly that isn’t all there is to this first issue. Hollywood satire, scorpion puppies, dimensional travel, scorpion puppies, surreal VR, multiverse police, and oh yeah, did we mention scorpion puppies?

Also worth mentioning is that all of the aforementioned craziness is without even getting to the actual namesake of the book. As you can see in the preview, there are several Alien looking toilets that will become prominent figures in the series. You can’t have a book called Alien Toilet Monsters without actual Alien Toilets now, can you?

So, are these creatures here to help, or are they here to conquer? Who knows, but it seems like they’ll make things quite entertaining either way.

When Warren Ellis speaks highly of your first issue, you know you’ve got something worthwhile. “A peculiar book, dense with weird science fiction… more real than you’d expect from something called, yes, ALIEN TOILET MONSTERS. If you see it, grab it. It’s packed as hell and it made me smile,” Ellis said.

You can find out more about the new series on the official website, and you can find a preview of the first issue in the gallery.
