At least, that’s the role we assume it’s for. Actress Kiersey Clemons, who starred in the director’s well-received dramedy Dope, is reportedly at the top of his list. Famuyiwa has hit the ground running so far, replacing the original Flash director Seth Grahame-Smith, so going with someone he’s already worked with would be a great way to keep the forward momentum.
Clemons has also starred in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (as Beth) and Amazon’s acclaimed series Transparent (as Bianca). The talented actress also has the remake of Flatliners coming in 2017.
If cast, Clemons will join Flash actor Ezra Miller on the project, who will be making his debut (aside from a small cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) in 2017’s Justice League. The Flash film is expected to hit theatres sometime in 2018.
