Batgirl has remained one of the most popular characters in the Batman universe ever since she debuted in Detective Comics #359, and like Batman, she has experienced a variety of incarnations during her career. That is one of the best parts of the character in regards to Cosplay, as it gives fans a litany of costumes and versions to choose from.

Cosplayer Kamiko-Zero, who’s real name is Kseniya Beknazarova, is fond of two versions in particular, and has brought both styles to stunning life. The first photo set is based on Helena Bertinelli version of Batgirl seen during the famous No Man’s Land storyline. She takes up the mantle to let the people of Gotham know there is still someone watching over them, as Batman and some of the other Gotham vigilantes are noticeably absent.

The costume is extremely well done, including the cowl, sewn in Bat-symbol, and utility belt. It’s even more stunning when paired with the brilliant and beautifully lit photography from Topatella Photography. The backgrounds are all noirish in style, and the subtle light that does come in truly highlights the costumes yellow accents.

The two also team up for a more classic take on the character starring the red-haired Barbara Gordon. The look feels like it stepped right off the comic page, with the bright gray, yellow, and blue color scheme. In fitting with the costume’s brightened style, the backdrops are also much bolder, with big comic style KABOOM and BLAM text effects. That doesn’t mean the costume can’t work with a darker backdrop, as the one featured in the set is again just stunning.

You can view some highlights from the set in the gallery, and for more of Kamiko-Zero’s lovely Cosplays make sure to check out her Deviant Art, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
