Tonight, The Flash will return to The CW after last week’s intense Invasion! crossover special. And, unsurprisingly, Barry Allen won’t be getting a break this week. The hero will come back for the midseason finale to fight Savitar, but he’s going to need some help to do so.

But, if he wants help, he’s first going to have to deal with The Trickster.

In a new clip from “The Present,” fans are shown when The Trickster reenters The Flash in all his whacked-out glory. The baddie, who is brought to life by Mark Hamill, is seen wearing a khaki suede trench coat and striped slacks. His hair is a vibrant purple shade, and it looks like his eye make-up has smeared enough to make any former emo fan proud.

“I told everyone inside that I’d let them live if they followed my instructions, but I tricked them! That is so me,” he said.

However, his plans are foiled when Earth-3’s Flash shows up. Jay Garrick rushes onto the scene with his iconic headgear, and The Trickster wants nothing more than to kill him. “Do me the honor of allowing me to kill you.”

The Flash manages to run Trickster out of ammo, but the villain pushes back with a hidden bomb. But, before he can detonate the weapon, Barry Allen’s Flash comes in and spoils the party.

Understandably, Trickster is more a little confused when he starts seeing double.

BARRY SEEKS HELP FROM JAY GARRICK — With Alchemy and Savitar still looming threats, Barry (Grant Gustin) is unable to focus on the Christmas holiday, and especially his relationship with Iris (Candice Patton). Determined to stop Savitar, Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp). Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he’s been training with H.R. (Tom Cavanagh), which doesn’t go over well with Barry. As Cisco (Carlos Valdes) faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez), old wounds are reopened.
