The latest box office reports project Batman‘s latest outing on the silver screen to beat two competing film sequels: the adaptation of Fifty Shades Darker and John Wick: Chapter 2.
But this Caped Crusader will be in brick form, as it’s the LEGO Batman Movie opening this Valentine’s Day weekend.

The holiday falls on a Tuesday, extending the opening weekends just a couple of days and allowing dates an extra chance to pad those box office numbers.
Deadline reports that the LEGO Batman Movie is expected to open at number one with over $50 million in ticket sales, with the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel between $30-$42 million and John Wick: Chapter 2 at $20 million.
All films pale in comparison to last year’s Valentine’s Day smash Deadpool, which shattered the holiday weekend’s All-Time records with over $132 million.
Will Arnett was a fan favorite as Batman in the original the LEGO Movie, earning him his own spinoff as well as a proper sequel to the main film. The LEGO Batman Movie also features Rosario Dawson as Batgirl/Barbara Gordon, Michael Cera as Robin/Dick Grayson, Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, Jenny Slate as Harley Quinn, and Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth.
John Wick: Chapter 2 is the followup to the surprising 2014 action hit, starring Keanu Reeves as the titular character. The film will feature a mini-Matrix reunion, as Lawrence Fishburn will also star in the sequel.
Fifty Shades Darker features the return of Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan to the series, the first of which was a critical flop but a financial success.
All films open February 10th.
