"One shall betray you, one shall fall, one will suffer a fate far worse than death."
Based on the fact that Iris West seemingly had a death wish in last week's episode and will be fighting for her life in this Tuesday's episode, The Flash might not have to even worry about saving the love of his life from being murdered in the future by Savitar.
I'm kidding. Of course she'll somehow pull through in the "Untouchable" episode, living long enough to eventually end up in Savitar's clutches and have his wrist-spike planted against her back. But when that time comes, will The Flash have altered the future enough so that he can save her? Probably.
We knew — based on the "Attack on Gorilla City" synopsis — that fan-favorite speedster Jesse Quick was coming back from Earth-2 for the Grodd-centric episode (airing Feb. 21), seeking help from her Earth-1 friends with her father's abduction. However, we didn't know that she would return in another future episode (or perhaps just stick around after the Grodd episode) and confront the god of speed.
Check out that creepy encounter, which features an actor/stuntman wearing an enormous and practical Savitar suit, in the set video and photos below.

THE TOUCH OF DEATH – Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin (guest star Matthew Kevin Anderson), a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) becomes his next target but it's Iris (Candice Patton) who is caught in the crossfire. The Flash mentors Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and begins to elevate the newer speedster's training to another level.
Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Brooke Roberts & Judalina Neira.
