Kevin Conroy On Why He Loves Ben Affleck's Batman

Many fans believe legendary Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy portrays the best version of the Caped Crusader, but the man himself has his own favorite for the role.

Conroy previously revealed he loved Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and now he's giving his reasons why.

While speaking with HeyUGuys in promotion of Batman And Harley Quinn, Conroy reiterated his appreciation and fondness of other actors who have donned the cape and cowl.

"I said it in addition to saying that everyone's is valid and that I like Michael Keaton, I like Christian Bale…I like them all!" Conroy began. "The one thing Ben Affleck did better than anyone is he got the balance between Batman and Bruce Wayne. There were two personas there and each of the actors have gotten one or the other really good; some people are better as Bruce Wayne, some are better as Batman."

Many fans have spoken about Keaton's portrayal of Batman as being the actor's strongest part of the character, and others have said Bale's performance as Bruce Wayne was the best.

"Ben Affleck, uniquely I think, was good at both and he did a really good job of it," Conroy said. "I just think Ben Affleck got the balance of both characters better than any of them."

When addressing the rumors of Affleck's rumored departure from the role, Conroy was asked about the possibility of playing Batman in a live-action capacity.

"Well, let's start a writing campaign before I get too old," Conroy said with a laugh. "It would be so much fun! No, at this point, I'd have to be old Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond or something like that."

Given the rumors of a Batman Beyond movie and the creation of an Elseworlds production banner for DC Comics-based movies, that just might work out…

Kevin Conroy's can be heard in Batman And Harley Quinn; it's now available on Digital HD and will hit Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, August 29.

Ben Affleck's Batman can next be seen in Justice League on November 17.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
