Aquaman, Red Son Superman, And More Headline DC Funko Dorbz Releases

Funko’s Dorbz line is extending deeper into the DC Comics universe.

A new wave of Dorbz figures, which are those tiny, round little two-inch tall vinyls with big heads and happy faces, will offer new collectible versions “of some of your favorite and most iconic DC Super Heroes.”

“Joining the lineup is the underwater Super Hero Aquaman, the soaring Hawkman and, Krypton’s Superman, and Supergirl,” says Funko’s official page. Check out photos of the new figures by clicking into the gallery at the bottom of the article!

Funko is the same brand which produces the trending Pop! figures which have conquered geek culture’s collections for years, now. Other DC Dorbz lines, however, include Justice League movie characters and a slew of other popular heroes from the comics.

In this case, the Red Son Superman is the hard-to-find product of the line, only appearing once for every six other Dorbz figures. The Hawkgirl figure will be available exclusively at Hot Topic, while the Superman to Bizarro figure will only be on shelves at Toys “R” Us.

Dorbz are available at your local toy store, WalMart, Target, Hot Topic, and various other stores. This new wave of DC Comics Dorbz figures will be available in this fall, though no specific release date has been revealed.
