Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has now passed Spider-Man to become the seventh-highest-grossing comic book adaptation of all time at the worldwide box office.

Ahead of the film are both Avengers films, Spider-Man 3, Iron Man 3, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

Here in the United States, it's poised to pass Iron Man 2 and then Iron Man in the next week or so, but it's unlikely to crack the top ten at the U.S. box office for a while; once you get to #11, Guardians of the Galaxy's $333 million is another $15 million hike -- more than the movie made at the weekend's box office.

Batman V Superman currently sits at $827 globally and $311 domestic. That puts it about $50 million behind Deadpool in North America, although it's exceeded that gap and then some internationally to make it 2016's second-highest-grossing movie behind Zootopia, which has earned $882 million.
