Mashup can be fun or they can be lame, but with the upcoming wave of superhero movies and TV shows between now and 2020, there’s plenty of material for fans to cut up and recombine into new video concepts.

Today’s mashup video du jour combines the recent teaser trailer for Justice League with other live-action Batman movies, to create a “The Batman League.” Check out the results for yourself below.

  • Adam West
  • Michael Keaton
  • Val Kilmer
  • George Clooney
  • Christian Bale
  • Ben Affleck

…Every live-action Batman is accounted for in the video, and the mashup does a good job of using the Justice League teaser as a framework for the All Batmen story. However, that doesn’t mean the mashup is perfect.

While the splices of footage are pretty smart, and the Justice League framework is a solid entry point, the fact is that the voiceover work for other characters (specifically George Clooney using Ezra Miller’s audio) isn’t that effective. In fact, Clooney speaking in Miller’s voice is at once weird as a visual, and not particularly flattering for Miller, who looks even more boyish in comparison to a guy like Clooney.
