Not much is known about the upcoming Ben Affleck-directed Batman solo film, but a new piece of information did reveal what is currently not in the film.

Managing editor of Fandango Erik Davis tweeted out a behind the scenes conversation between him and Sienna Miller. Miller has been working with Affleck on his upcoming directorial mob film Live By Night, where she plays Emma Gould. During filming it seems she learned that a fan favorite character wasn't in the script, and is volunteering her services to play the role if that changes.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice contained plenty of references to Batman's world, but it did not include any cameos by Selina Kyle. Many assumed that would be saved for the solo Batman film, but it turns out that she isn't currently in the script. It would be an utter shame to have a Batman film directed by someone like Affleck and not include the femme fatale who's become as much of a Batman staple as the Joker.

As for who plays the role, Miller would be a worthy addition to the character's film lineage, a lineage that includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, and Anne Hathaway, even though Halley Berry's was far from well received. As long as Affleck and Miller have decent chemistry, it could be a great pairing.

Live By Night stars Ben Affleck, Zoe Saldana, Elle Fanning, Sienna Miller, Scott Eastwood, Chris Sullivan, Brendan Gleeson, Anthony Micael Hall, Chris Messina, Titus Welliver, Chris Cooper, Max Casella, Derek Mears, Robert Glenister, and J.D. Evermore. You can find the official description below.

"Live by Night" is set in the roaring `20s when Prohibition hasn't stopped the flow of booze in an underground network of gangster-run speakeasies. The opportunity to gain power and money is there for any man with enough ambition and nerve and Joe Coughlin, the son of the Boston Police Superintendent, long ago turned his back on his strict upbringing for the spoils of being an outlaw. But even among criminals there are rules and Joe breaks a big one: crossing a powerful mob boss by stealing his money and his moll. The fiery affair ends in tragedy, setting Joe on a path of revenge, ambition, romance and betrayal that propels him out of Boston and up the ladder of Tampa's steamy rum-running underworld.

As for The Batman, the film has no official release date or cast other than Affleck, Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), and Joe Manganiello (Deathstroke), and it is being developed by Affleck and DC lore guru and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns.

Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without release dates.
