First up? DC has provided ComicBook.com with a preview of Dark Knight III: The Master Race #6. The series, which was recently expanded, will see its next installment released on October 19.

You can check out the solicitation text below, and while it doesn’t tell you much about the story, the question it poses is…interesting.

Is Gotham City ready for a new Batgirl?!

A good candidate for that title is probably Carrie Kelley, who was arrested at the start of the series while wearing a Batman costume, and subsequently told the authorities that Bruce Wayne was dead.

“Well, to me, she always has [been an appealing character,” Miller told ComicBook.com. “I would love to do a series — in fact, I intend to do a series of her and her alone that would be very much like a comic book Nancy Drew series. It would be her detective stories. They would be smaller-sized, they would be designed to that they could be, even though they would be comic books, they would be comic books for children. That’s something I intend to do. Just picture a small figure of Robin on a cover holding a magnifying glass. Maybe hardcovers.”

As you know, there are a bunch of variant covers for each issue of Dark Knight III: The Master Race. The ones included in the attached image gallery are by Kubert & Anderson, Miller & Alex Sinclair, Jim Lee & Scott Williams & Sinclair, Janson & Romulo Fajardo Jr., Greg Tocchini, and Giuseppe Camuncoli & Dave Stewart.

From writers Frank Miller & Brian Azzarello with art by Klaus Janson, colors by Brad Anderson and letters by Clem Robins. This book hits shelves on Wednesday, October 19.
