DC All Access, DC's web-based news show that covers the company's comics, toys, TV, video games, and more, has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive clip from their interview with Adam Urbano, Senior Producer for Injustice 2.

"Bigger is better in this game," Urbano said. "So we took what was iconic about the characters, but we really distilled it down and just went big." He compared the differences in characters like Grodd -- who gets up close and personal -- and Atrocitus -- lots of blood and rage.

In Injustice 2, players will be able to personalize DC's characters with unique gear earned through gameplay, allowing them to customize how the characters "look, fight, and develop" through the game.

Injustice 2 continues the story of Injustice: Gods Among Us "as Batman and his allies work towards putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman's regime. In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth's existence at risk. Players can play from the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game, from classic fan favorites such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman, to astonishing new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. Battles will take place across arenas that have evolved in scale and span across iconic locations such as Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis."

Injustice 2 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.
