Not much is still known about DC and Warner Bros. upcoming Shazam project, other than it stars Dwayne The Rock Johnson. While it will most likely still be awhile before fans hear more, given DC’s other priority projects, a new fan trailer gives a glimpse of what it could end up looking like.

The Shazam teaser trailer was put together by Movie Craft, who assembled a great deal of the footage from Clash of the Titans, The Rock’s Hercules, and DC and Warner Bros. own Man of Steel starring Henry Cavill. In fact, Cavill’s Superman is cast in the Shazam role, with some after effects magic recasting him in the red, white, and yellow colors of the iconic hero. As you can guess, Zod is given a subtle redesign as well, casting him in the Black Adam spot.
Having Liam Neeson’s Zeus and the fantastical cities of Clash of the Titans actually fits quite well with the subject matter, itself similar to Marvel’s approach to Asgard in the Thor films. Time will tell if this jives with what DC and Warner Bros. have in mind for Shazam, which will be a part of their cinematic universe, but not as tethered as other films like Justice League, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the other solo projects.
You can watch the full teaser in the video above.
Next up for DC is Justice League, and you can find the official synopsis below. You can find more of Movie Craft’s work on their YouTube page.

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroesโBatman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flashโit may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarรกn Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
