Next week, Gotham will return to Fox to wrap the drama’s on-going third season. The show’s penultimate episode left fans dangling with a huge cliffhanger threatening Gotham city. A deadly virus has now spread throughout the area, and time is ticking on a hopeful antidote. All the while, villains like Ra’s Al Ghul and the Riddler are making their own motives known while Bruce struggles to pick a side. The thrilling two-hour finale of Gotham next week will bring fans back in-touch with dozens of characters, but few are as looked forward to as Selina Kyle.

After all, Gotham did just give one big teaser about the character going full Catwoman next week.

In the preview for “Destiny Calling” / “Heavydirtysoul,” fans watched as the young girl returned to the screen. The last time fans saw Selina, she was nursing injuries after falling out of a building. The girl was shown lying in an alley, leaving fans to wonder if Selina was even alive. However, the character did survive the fall, and fans watched as Selina was surrounded by cats as they approached the dying girl.

Now, it looks like Selina is about to embrace her full Catwoman heritage on Gotham. The finale’s teaser shows the girl briefly as she stands in an ornate room. Wearing a skin-tight body suit and black choker, Selina is shown doing target practice with a leather whip that should look familiar to any fan of Catwoman.

In the past, actress Camren Bicondova has spoken about her interest in seeing Selina turn to her Catwoman alter-ego. In an interview with CinemaBlend last year, the actress said she felt Selina was close to taking that step.

“I think she’s always said that to make herself feel better and make it easier for her to live and survive, but after instances that are going to be occurring in her life soon, I think they’re actually going to force her to actually believe that she is this strong independent young lady instead of just telling herself that. I think that’s one step she’s going to be taking to becoming Catwoman.”
