The Justice League promotional blitz is in full swing, but the League’s newest poster series seems to be missing someone.

OK, yes, that would be Superman as well, but at least with him, fans know the absence is plot related. There is one other hero known for his inclusion in the League, and that would be Green Lantern. BossLogic’s latest poster envisions the Lantern Hal Jordon in his very own All In poster, a design that up to this point has featured Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman.
It’s gorgeous of course, and having his head down would certainly be an effective way to tease fans with the identity of this League’s Lantern. Odds are of course it would be Hal Jordan, with John Stewart coming along for the ride down the line.

Rumors have suggested one to two Lanterns showing up in Justice League, and the good news is the universe is certainly aware of the Green Lantern Corps already. In Steppenwolf’s narration of the Justice League trailer, he can be heard saying “No Lanterns”, suggesting he’s had run-ins with them before. Whether they helped Earth in the original conflict with Darkseid’s army remains to be seen, but just knowing they are out there opens up a myriad of possibilities.
Warner Bros. has been understandably cautious with its plans for Green Lantern, stemming from the disappointing returns and critical receptions from their previous try. There was plenty to like in that iteration of course, but overall it just didn’t land with audiences. For this latest run, it is suspected that a Green Lantern will debut in Justice League, followed by the full introduction in the Green Lantern Corps movie coming in a few years.
The film is being pitched as a cosmic buddy cop film, and early reports suggest that Jordan will star alongside John Stewart. One of the best parts of the original Green Lantern film was how it handled the vast lore in that part of the universe, and hopefully the newest iteration will take some notes.
Justice League hits on November 17th.
