What’s more powerful: five Justice League members, or one hero with the power of five Justice League members?
Videos by ComicBook.com
That’s the question posed by a new piece of fan art created by Beyondity Art, who combined all five Justice League members from the Justice League movie – Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman – into a single composite Justice League hero for a piece he titled “Justice League UNITED.” Take a look below.
You’ll notice the hero has the cape and cowl (and presumably the intelligence and gadgets) of Batman, Cyborg’s robotic head and arm, Aquaman’s trident, Wonder Woman’s shield and lasso of truth, and the Flash’s pants and boots, presumably for running at super speed.
The idea of merging heroes together has actually been explored in DC Comics stories in the past. The Composite Superman was capable of using the powers of Superman, Supergirl, and several members of the Legion of Super-Heroes and had the appearance of Superman and Batman being merged at the middle. Amazo was an incredibly advanced android that could emulate the powers of any metahuman he came into contact with.
Justice League currently has a 4.16 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating, making it the third most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers. Let us know how excited you are about Justice League by giving it your own rating below.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League follows Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the film that brought the DC Comics Trinity of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman together for the first time, and Wonder Woman, which told Wonder Woman’s origin story on the big screen for the first time.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio, from a story by Snyder and Terrio. Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons and Ciarรกn Hinds. Joss Whedon will act as director through the film’s reshoots and post-production. Danny Elfman will provide the film’s score.
Justice League opens in theaters Nov. 17, 2017.
