The highly-anticipated episode will see John Constantine (Matt Ryan) joining forces with the team, enlisting their help in stopping some sort of supernatural threat. While it's hard to tell, judging by the photos, exactly what's going on, the end of Legends' midseason finale hints that it has something to do with the team's captain, Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz).
"I've gotten to work with Matt before on Arrow, although I think I was possessed pretty much the whole time," Lotz said during a set visit last year. "He's a fabulous actor; we had so much fun on set. I think Sara — he's this really cocky guy who thinks he's the s—t, and I think Sara kind of throws him for a loop because he thinks he's so impressive, but then she…takes everybody down. I think they're friends — they like each other."
Constantine appearing on Legends has been on many fans' wish list for quite some time, with even the show's executive producers campaigning for it early on. And as these photos show, Constantine looks pretty comfortable amongst the Arrowverse's ragtag group of heroes.
"As for the character of Constantine, we knew that an alienated, chain-smoking, bisexual, world-weary demonologist would feel right at home among our Legends," executive producer Phil Klemmer explained when Constantine's arrival was first announced.
As far as how Constantine will interact with the rest of the Legends, we've already gotten some sort of idea, as he will apparently flirt with Leonard "Leo" Snart /Citizen Cold (Wentworth Miller).
"Rory watching Citizen Cold and Trenchcoat flirt with one another was like too much for Rory, so he just f*cking got out of there." Dominic Purcell, who plays Mick Rory/Heatwave, added. "That's what I remember doing. It's all too much! Too much information! Which makes it really funny. The scene is hysterical. We were all just on the floor laughing, so it's all done in good fun."
Legends of Tomorrow will return Monday, February 12th at 8/7c on The CW.
