Warner Bros. is making sure Margot Robbie feels at home after her head-turning performance in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.

The actress will be signing a first-look deal with the studio, which makes sense since Suicide Squad has brought in just over $700 million so far at the box office. Robbie will be producing films through her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. She’s joined by partners Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, and Sophia Kerr (via THR).
One of her upcoming projects as part of the new deal will be a Suicide Squad spin-off film, which will not only star Robbie but will also include her as an Executive Producer. Even though she will star in the film, it won’t be a solo project, as the film is rumored to include other villains and heroes from DC’s vast stable of characters, including names like Batgirl and the Birds of Prey.
In addition to the Suicide Squad spin-off, LuckyChap Entertainment is also producing I, Tonya, a Tonya Harding biopic. Robbie will be starring as Harding. The team is also working on Bad Monkey’s, based on the original book by Matt Ruff. Robbie will also star in the upcoming Queen of the Air, as well as the upcoming Vaughn Stein directed Terminal.
The fact that Robbie is already producing on feature projects is impressive, and the Studio is smart to keep her in-house as much as possible.
